About Adrian Dine
Prior to the creation of ad.structure in 2007 Adrian spent a year as a Field Engineer with Hilti Australia and prior to that gained experience in structural and civil engineering with Bornhorst and Ward, Brown Consulting and Kourkourou Engineers.
He and his wife grew up in Newcastle NSW and moved to Queensland in 2000, where they now live with their 3 children and their dog. They live north of Brisbane in a family home they designed and built in 2017. The home is their safe space, a shelter and sanctuary, a retreat from the world. It is where family happens, and everyone loves it.

As structural engineers our role is to ensure the safety and stability of your home so that it stands strong for years to come. Our aim is to improve the design process for the creation or renovation of your family home.
We take a holistic approach to your project based upon our 25 years of our experience. We do this through efficient selection of structural systems and considered design to ensure a result that is respectful to your budget, the architecture, and the environment.

We offer Structural Engineering consulting services for residential family home renovations and new homes in South East Queensland. We design and document residential structures created from reinforced concrete, structural masonry, timber and steel. Our expertise is balancing structural requirements with functional spaces with the aim of reducing the construction cost. This is achieved through curiosity and creativity and encouraging our clients and other members of the design team to consider alternative approaches.
Sharing our experience and learning from other projects and presenting new ideas is how we add value. The aim of this is to highlight the opportunities to create more liveable, functional spaces, which may not yet have been considered. By implementing a few simple changes to a plan and elevations can often make way for a more efficient structural system, ensure greater performance, reduce material usage and free up the project budget for those things that are important to you.
